You are invited aboard Seafin to celebrate Clare's 40th birthday in style!
I would love you to join us onboard Seafin for a fun day of sailing along the Hamble & Beaulieu rivers, and out on Southampton Water.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and all soft drinks, tea, coffee, wine and beer are included as part of our day out.
About Seafin:
Seafin is a 75 foot traditional wooden English motor yacht. She is completely unique, with a rich history since she was built in 1961 by Thorneycroft, one of the most prestigious British ship builders since 1808.
On-board Seafin you will find an outdoor rear viewing deck, a stern deck, an indoor saloon complete with sofas, reading library and galley. Upstairs is an additional viewing deck with soft seating areas and a wonderful 360-degree view.
Seafin is fully equipped with a bar, kitchen facilities, plus all possible safety equipment including life-jackets and liferaft. In addition, she carries two jet skis and two stand-up paddle-boards.
(subject to change)
9:00 - 9:30am: We'll board Seafin at Port Hamble and enjoy a breakfast on board of coffee, tea, juice, bacon rolls and brioche.
10:30am: We will depart from Port Hamble and head down Southampton Water towards Cowes. We'll cruise over to Cowes and west along the coast of the Isle of Wight before crossing back across the Solent and into the mouth of the tranquil Beaulieu River. We'll then slowly cruise up the Beaulieu River to Buckler’s Hard.
12:30pm: Stop at Buckler’s Hard where we can disembark for a visit to the Master Builder’s House Hotel and sightseeing, to stretch our legs in a stroll along the river, or simply stay on board and relax.
1:30pm: A hot buffet lunch (including a selection of prepared cold salads, meats, quiches and locally made bread) will be served on the aft deck and in the saloon.
2:30pm: We will resume sailing and gently make our way back down the River and over to the Island. We will find a suitable bay (depending on the prevailing currents and winds) where we will anchor and the two jet skis and paddle boards can be launched. Swimming, sunbathing and relaxing are the order of the day.
4:00pm: Afternoon Tea is served on the aft deck including tea, coffee, and a selection of handmade cakes.
5:00 - 5:30pm: Return to Hamble.
Drinks and refreshments are served throughout the day including Pimms, white, rose and red wine, beer, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee.
